![]() Thanks again for the extrude 2d to 3d tip. but an exact 1.75 is not possible with just stud gear changes. A few stud gears here and there will see most pitches. I have spreadsheeted it up and leaving entire geartrain as it is with just the 127/100 and the standard 24 tooth stud gear (on the single tumbler machines) you get. It is about the simplest and best way I have seen without actually buying the transposing kit. I can't believe that thread got no replies. I was ultimately looking to do something like this: I suspect though, that PVC or acetal might just do for what my usage will be. At $40 a kg the bronze stuff is not cheap. ![]() ![]() Especially as you can build spokes onto the larger gears and save $$ on printing material. I was kind of hoping not to be (very) lazy (as usual) and not have to worry about sizes of addendums etc but that is a good tip. I was looking at that site yesterday - what an amazing bit of software.
